Day1: Meeting at the Tbilisi airport

Arrival at Tbilisi. Transfer to hotel, accommodation. Free time. Overnight stay in the hotel in Tbilisi

Day 2:  Tbilisi

Breakfast in the hotel, sighseeing-tour through the old Tiflis: Metekhi-church of the holy virgin Maria, Tiflis-sulfur-bath area, Waterfall in the fig canyon, Shardeni-area, peace bride, Rike-park. Ascent with cable car to fort Narikala, the old citadel and the city´s mainfort. Not all tourists have the possibility to be able to come to the concert of national songs and dances, but they still have the oppurtinity to get to know this specific part of georgian culture in restaurants as well. At this occasion we recommend lunch in the restaurants (optional). You will be familiarized with seditious georgian dances and songs while eating lunch at the establishment (For an additional fee of $25/person). The transfer to/from the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel in Tbilisi

Day 3: Tbilisi – Gori – Uplisziche - Kutaisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure into the city Gori, where we can visit the Stalin´s museum and his house. Visit of the cave town Uplisziche (2000 B.C.) As a settlement the city was created 2000 years before Vardzia and 1500 years vefore D. Gerji, it was created in the second century of 2000 B.C. , is a treasure of the georgian people, a brilliant memorial, the material culture of Georgians, one in stone chiseled page of history. Continued drive to Kutaissi. Overnight stay in hotel in Kutaisi

Day 4:  Kutaisi - Mestia (svaneti)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Svaneti. On the way we stop several times to take pictures and to enjoy with waterfalls and amazing views on Caucasus mountain range. This region is a birthplace of the Svans, a unique ethnic group, who are distinguished by their amazing and old culture and traditions. Svaneti is also famous for its original and authentic architecture and is dubbed as a “land of thousand towers”. Those towers used to play an important economic and defensive role in the history of Svaneti. There are still dozens of the towers – middle Ages stone houses with fire watchtowers; and churches (10-14th cc). In the evening visit the Mestia Ethnographic museum, with an original Svan house “machubi.” Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse

Day 5:  Mestia – Ushguli – Mestia

After the hotel breakfast drive to Ushguli village, the highest standing settlement in Europe (2200 m). The Ushguli architectural complex is a valuable architectural and historical monument, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List for its exclusiveness. There are about 70 families living in Ushguli (around 200 people). Spend time in Ushguli strolling through the old narrow streets. Visit Lamaria Church, complex with impressive 12th century wall frescos. Locals believe that Queen Tamar was buried under this church. Enjoy picturesque view of the Mount Shkhara. Return to Mestia to enjoy delicious dinner made of Svan traditional dishes. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse

Day 6:  Mestia – Zugdidi – Martvili - Kutaisi

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Martvili. Visiting Martvili Canyon is a unique natural monument with traces of prehistoric animals, whose beauty is breathtaking. The walls of the canyon are a stone arch. Due to the very high humidity beautiful lianas grow here, and the canyon walls are covered with perennial mosses. You can take a boat trip along the Martvili canyon, see its beauty close and get unforgettable impressions. You can take a walk along the entire course of the river. The nature here is very beautiful: a large waterfall falling from a great height, many small waterfalls and streams that form beautiful blue lakes with clear water.  Departure to Kutaisi. Overnight at the hotel in Kutaisi

Day 7:  Kutaisi - Batumi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Batumi. After arrival, tour around the city. Visit the argonaut place, the Medea-statue, the statue of love - Ali and Nino - and the famous Boulevard. Next we´ll got to fort Gonio - a true paradise for lovers of history and ancient culture. Return to Kutaisi. Overnight stay in hotel in Kutaisi

Day 8:  Kutaisi - Borjomi

Breakfast at the hotel.  Visit of the UNESCO- world heritage sites Bagrati-monastery, Gelati-monastery and academy, foundet by the great Georgian king David IV - the builder. Continued drive to Borjomi. Further Rafting on the Kura River. The tour starts near the village of Kvabiskhevi and ends in Borjomi. Approximate length of routes: 15 km. Duration: 1.30 hour. Departure to the city Tsagveri. Master class on cooking Georgian dishes with dinner. Overnight stay in Borjomi hotel or Bakuriani

Day 9:  Borjomi – Akhaltsikhe – Wardsia - Borjomi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the city Akhaltsikhe, visit of the historic city fortress Rabat - This is one of the most beatiful medieval Fortresses in Georgia. Afterwards we will visit the famous cave city Vardzia - a cave-monastery complex out of the 12th-13th century in southern Georgia, Javakheti. An outstanding memorial of the medieval Georgian Architecture. Return to Borjomi. Overnight stay in Borjomi hotel or Bakuriani

Day 10:  Borjomi – Mzcheta – Jvari - Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Mzcheta (second Jerusalem), the oldest and beatiful city. Visit of the UNESCO- world heritage sites Jvari-temple monastery (6th century) and Swetizchoweli-cathedral (11th century), where the Jesus Christ´schiton is kept. Arrival in Tiflis. If you visit the city´s main market, then you have the possibility to buy natural georgian products from real farmers: Chruchkhela, nuts, dried fruit, cheese, spices, honey, homemade jelly and much more. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tbilisi

Day 11:  Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi-Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Kasbegi. On our way we´ll look over the architectural complex Ananuri (16th century), which is located right next to the Georgian military road, on of the most famous castles Georgia´s, whose main advantage is it´s security. All walls and towers with it´s breathtaking view of the Zhinvali-reservoir are still kept to this day.Our next obligatory stop is the viewing platform at Gudauri´s entrance called " Bow of Villagefriendship" (extreme enthusiasts can even paraglide in Gudauri). Next we will drive to Kasbeki. You have the possibility to enjoy the view of one of the tallest and astonishing peak of Caucasus - the mountain Kazbek(5047m) - and with off-road vehicles arrive at the church of the three holy trinity Gergeti (14th century) at a height of 2170m, at the foot of Kasbek, from where an unforgettable view of the expanses opens. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tbilisi

Day 12: Tbilisi-Sighnaghi-Bodbe-Kvareli-Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the eastern part of georgian Kachetien - the area of the vine, georgian wine´s birthplace. The first station is in the village Badiauri where we invite you to a breakfast "after Kachetien" (hot Bread-Shoti, cheese, yoghurt and of course Chacha. Without Chacha it´s not breakfast, like they say in Kachetien). Next we visit the medieval city Signagi, which is on a hill where a wonderful view of the Alazani-Valley and  foothills of the south caucasus lies. Afterwards you´ll visit the nun-monastery Bodbe. Our route leads us onward to the city Kvareli. Soon after you´ll visit the famous wine factory "Kindzmarauli". There you´ll find a tour through the factory, you will learn the technology behind making the best Georgian wine varieties and will be able to try out 4 different wine varieties (the tour and wine tasting is included in the price). Next the tour follows with a visit of a farmer´s wine cellar and tasting of traditional kakhetian wine in the village Gavazi. The establishment´s hostess will prepare us a feast with delicious homemade food and the owner will reveal the secrets behind the cooking on a real Georgian grill. The feast will be served in a sincere traditional atmosphere with georgian bread and handpicked homemade wine under the direction of a georgian toastmaster called a "Tamada". Diner in the village Gavazi (food is included in the price). Late return to and overnight stay in the hotel in Tbilisi

Day 13: Airport transfer

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tbilisi airport. Return to home
