Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Ananuri located on the Georgian Military Road. We’ll observe the stronghold Ananuri (XVII c.) facing the magnificent Zhinvali reservoir. Then we’ll go to Kazbegi. You’ll have an opportunity to enjoy the sight of one of the highest and most impressive mountains of the Caucasus – Kazbek (5047 m) and ascend by jeep to Gergeti Trinity Church (XIV c.) at the altitude of 2200 m at the foot of Kazbek.(for extra pay – $5 per person)There’s an unbelievable view of the nature there. Further, our path lies in the balneological resort of Dilijan. Climbing the Dilijan turns, we come to the second largest alpine lake in the world - Lake Sevan (1900m). Here we visit the Sevan Monastery on the peninsula (9th century) and admire the blue strait of a lake of tectonic origin. And in the evening we arrive in the capital of Armenia, the city of YEREVAN.
